Volunteer with SOHC today!

Special Olympics Hamilton County is powered by volunteers. Whether you want to coach, help at an event, assist with athlete check-in, provide snacks, represent SOHC at a community booth, support our golf outing or prom, or help with fundraising, there is a place to get involved.

Before You Volunteer or Coach

Some volunteer roles require you to be properly registered with Special Olympics Indiana as a Class A volunteer and to complete any required State forms, screenings, or training.

If your role requires State registration, that process must be completed before you can coach or volunteer in that capacity.

If you are not properly registered in the Special Olympics Indiana portal, you may not be eligible to coach, volunteer, or participate in required roles.

Need help with the State portal? Visit our Special Olympics Portal Resources Page for step-by-step assistance.

Want to Coach?

Coaching is handled through each individual sport.

Visit the Sports section of this website and select the sport you are interested in. Each sport page will provide the appropriate contact and next steps for coaching.
